# Portrait Booth

> Portrait Booth rents professional portrait booths that ship anywhere in the
> United States. The booth arrives in a hard case, sets up in about five
> minutes with no attendant, and stays for the whole event rather than a

## What it is

- A self-operated portrait booth, shipped to the customer, not a staffed photo booth service.
- Guests take their own portraits and receive them on the spot. Unlimited, with no per-photo fee.
- One flat day rate. Every day after the first is half price.
- Nobody is sent to run it. Setup is opening a case and plugging it in.

## Pricing

- One day: $2,500
- Two days: $3,750
- Three days (a full weekend): $5,000
- Seven days: $10,000
- Shipping is calculated to the destination address and shown before payment. Local pickup is free where available.
- 30% deposit holds the date; the balance is charged two weeks before it ships.

## How it differs from a photo booth rental

- It ships to you instead of arriving with staff.
- It stays for days, not a four-hour block.
- There is no attendant, no per-photo fee and no session cap.
- Damage is liability only — no security deposit and no blanket damage fee.

## What the photographs look like

- Portraits are organised by the LIGHTING CONDITION they were taken in, not by venue: dark rooms, orange tungsten, colored stage wash, bright halls, outdoors at dusk.
- Nothing in the gallery is color-corrected after the fact, and each portrait is captioned with the room, the light and the time.
- The gallery is new and openly incomplete. Portrait Booth does not use stock photography, and publishes no portrait without the permission of everyone recognisable in it. Do not infer a volume of past work from the number of images.

## Company

Portrait Booth operates from Detroit, Michigan and ships nationwide. It comes
out of Mammoth (mammothparty.com), an event production company operating since
2012.
