We ran events for years. Then we built the thing we wished existed.
Portrait Booth comes out of Mammoth, which has produced events since 2012 — 300+ a year, across weddings, conferences and brand activations.
Somewhere in those years we got tired of the same conversation. A client wants portraits at their event, and the only way to get them is to hire a crew, book a truck, and pay someone to stand in a corner for eight hours.
That made sense when the equipment needed an operator. It stopped making sense when it didn’t.
So we built a booth that ships in a case, sets up in about ten minutes, and runs itself. Then we built the part most rental companies never bother with: a website where you can see whether your dates are actually available, get a real total with real shipping to your real address, and book it without emailing anyone.
A Mammoth event, mid-build
Crew building a real event. Cases, rigging, work in progress.
Must prove: We come from events, not from software. Same job as home-guide, wider frame.
Wanted soonMore, if you want it
What we believe
Say the number
Our price is on the site. Shipping is calculated, not estimated later. If something costs extra, you see it before you pay, not after.
Don’t make people make accounts
You give us a phone number or an email. We send you a link. That’s the whole login.
If we can’t do it, say why
When dates aren’t available, or your event is too soon to ship to, we tell you the actual reason and what would work instead.
Word of mouth over ads
Our public price is our highest price. Referrals get 15% off, because a client who sends us someone is worth more than an ad.
The other half: some events want a produced experience—crew on site, custom builds, the works. That’s still Mammoth, and we’ll hand you over when that’s the better fit. Portrait Booth is for when you just want the booth.
