Meet our family of companies.
Mammoth, BrandStudio and Portrait Booth are three separate companies that share a bench and the people at it. Here is what each one does, and which one your contract is with.
Mammoth
Event media. The one that has been doing this longest.
Mammoth is the media team at high-stakes events — instant portraits, headshots, conference coverage, trade show photography, custom photo ops and activations, edited the same day. 300+ events a year, and where everyone here learned what actually goes wrong at an event, which turns out to be the entire basis of this product.
Mammoth, working the room
Mammoth shooting an event — a headshot being taken on a conference floor, or the tethered station with someone editing while the queue moves. The work, not the gear.
Must prove: Mammoth is an event media team. That is a different business from shipping a booth, and the difference is that people come with it.
LaterBrandStudio
The capture product. Separate business, separate customers.
BrandStudio builds the on-site photo experience used at activations. It is its own company with its own clients, and the reason it matters here is engineering: the two products share a bench and a decade of learning about cameras, lighting and what survives a load-in.
BrandStudio at an activation
BrandStudio’s setup at a brand activation.
Must prove: That it is a separate product with its own customers.
LaterPortrait Booth
This one. The booth that ships to you.
Portrait Booth is the answer to a question the other two kept raising: what if the crew did not have to come? One case, one flat day rate, set up by whoever opens the box. Everything on this site is this business.
A case on a doorstep, no crew
The Portrait Booth case on a doorstep with nobody else in frame.
Must prove: The whole distinction the page is drawing: the crew did not have to come.
LaterWhat that means for your booking
You are contracting with Portrait Booth and nobody else. The shared part is people and a bench, not your data and not your invoice — the booth that arrives was prepped by the same team that answers when you text.
The part that took seven years
Three booth generations came out of that bench before this one, starting with a thirteen-camera array in 2018 that needed a truck.
